Second Amendment Nation Rings

The issue of gun control continues to grow in controversy, with much of the debate often centering on whether gun regulations place undue restrictions on liberty, and whether a correlations exists between the 2nd Amendment and crime. The emotionally charged debate may even call into question the sincerity of why some Americans will bother reciting The Pledge of Allegiance.

Although we Americans value the freedoms afforded to us, the emotional debate for-and-against the continued need for the Second Amendment have overshadowed the reasons it exists in the first place. Furthermore, those who are steadfast on the anti-gun side of the conversation may want to reconsider the next time they have the opportunity to pledge themselves to the ideology of one indivisible nation called the United States of America, when they are contributing to undermining it.

As jewelry designers, we know that everyone has at least one piece of jewelry that holds a special emotional attachment. We also know that such jewelry often sparks a good conversation with others. The 2A collection of rings on this site were conceived with two very specific purposes. First, the ring is a never-before-seen way for gun owners to display their pride and the personal responsibility required when owning a gun. Second, it is our hope that each ring will spark many constructive conversations about the Second Amendment so you can explain your view on gun control without getting caught up in an emotionally charged argument.

When the First Continental Congress drafted the Bill of Rights (the 1st 10 Amendments), they hoped to further unite the original 13 States into a nation with a solid foundation. Similarly, when we chose the name 2nd Amendment Nation for our collection of rings, we hoped they would spark a new approach to the conversation, and bridge the irreconcilable gap on this topic which is dividing Our Nation.
